When you use LGM, you’ll have access to several templates, mostly focused on LinkedIn and email (but we’ve given Twitter some love too, don’t worry

Since obtaining the personal email address is LinkedIn-based and requires the prospect to accept your request on

LinkedIn, you’ll want to opt for templates that focus on LinkedIn first, with email as the follow-up/back-off option.

If you do it the other way around, you’ll never have access to the personal email in the first place, and the app will likely

contact the professional one instead. Let’s take a simple example of this sequence:

In this example, this entire top branch here will never be executed on your candidate’s personal email, simply because

they never accepted your connection request and therefore you don’t have access yet.

In this case, you have 2 options:

  • Either remove the locks and/or delete the branch entirely .
  • Or, go to your email settings where you can configure what you want to authorize.

So, if a recruiter using our tool does not want to use pro overseas chinese in australia emails and only wants professional emails, they should change this setting like this:

Going back to our example, if you just check the “ Send to personal emails” box , you won’t even need to

change the parent branch. Since it doesn’t allow sending to Pro emails from the start, you won’t have them and the tool

will simply ignore that branch.

In the lower branch, you can work without problems, since it how do you use frames? segments based on whether you have a personal email. And that’s good. Your configuration is good:

Final thoughts

So, to conclude this article, I will leave you with two main things to keep in mind:

Implementing this in LGM On the one hand, if you’re not too concerned about using professional emails, it’s potentially

worth turning on both options to send emails to professional and personal addresses . Just make sure you check

the right boxes in your email settings.

Implementing this in LGM Secondly, and I haven’t really touched on this topic throughout this article, but at a minimum, your message should not be a pitch like:

Hi, I wanted to introduce you to an exciting opportunity. I haven’t been able to reach you on LinkedIn. I want to know if

you are aware of the market and if we can talk in person, please feel free to send me your personal email.

This is a real (translated) message I received not long ago. In any case, school email list this is not bad because it seems that the recruiter is focusing on getting my personal email.

That’s the best practice you can use. The best thing is to simply check if your candidate is attentive to opportunities and, if they are, make a point to talk about it through another channel.
